All Trainings Take Place in a Dry Heat Environment
All sessions at Burning Wheel take place in a heated studio using dry heat, creating a warm environment that supports deeper movement, mental clarity, and disciplined practice.
8-Limb Power Yoga is the foundational practice of the Burning Wheel Method. This practice is rooted in the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Recognition Sutra, and Hatha Yoga Pradipika, featuring vinyasa flows, stationary postures, and blissful savasana.
Yoga ACTIVATED™ is a 75-minute heated class led by Monique that combines 8-Limb Power Yoga with integrated mind-body training to develop strength, resilience, and intentional practice.
Master Class is a 90-minute complete practice that includes breathwork and mantra, 8-Limb Power Yoga postures in a heated room, and guided Yoga Nidra to integrate the work through deep restorative rest.
This 75-minute Intermediate Power Yoga training is designed for experienced practitioners and focuses on building strength, refining alignment, and developing advanced postures.
This 60-minute training combines strength training with a dynamic yoga sequence built around the core postures of 8-Limb Power Yoga, creating a focused 60-minute class that develops strength, mobility, and breath-centered movement.
Power Hour condenses the core elements of our 8-Limb Power Yoga flow into a fast-paced 60-minute class designed for practitioners who want an efficient, high-energy practice.
8-Limb Power Yoga is the foundational practice of the Burning Wheel Method. This heated class combines dynamic vinyasa flow, stationary postures, and guided breath to develop strength, mobility, focus, and resilience.
Rooted in the classical eight-limb framework of yoga, the practice integrates movement, breath control, meditation, and philosophical insight into a complete training system for body and mind. The method draws from traditional yogic teachings while incorporating a modern understanding of the human body and nervous system.
Each class includes dynamic vinyasa sequences, stationary postures, and a period of stillness in savasana, creating a balanced practice that challenges the body while settling the mind. While every session follows the core structure of the method developed by Burning Wheel founder Jordan Lashley, each instructor brings their own experience and perspective into the room.
Some classes may emphasize the physical postures, while others may introduce elements such as breath work, mantra, mudra, or brief philosophical reflection. Over time, students often discover the instructor whose teaching style resonates most strongly with their practice.

Master Class represents the complete expression of the Burning Wheel Method. The word master does not refer to difficulty, but instead, to completeness—an all-encompassing practice that brings together breath, movement, concentration, and deep rest within a single training session.
The class begins with 15 minutes of guided breathwork and mantra to settle the mind and prepare the nervous system for practice.
From there, students move into 45 minutes of 8-Limb Power Yoga postures, practicing the foundational sequences that build strength, mobility, endurance, and focused attention.
The final 30 minutes transition into Yoga Nidra, a guided practice of deep relaxation often described as the state between waking and dreaming. During this portion, the heat is turned off, allowing the body to fully settle as the nervous system shifts into restorative rest.

Intermediate Power Yoga builds on the foundation of 8-Limb Power Yoga, offering a more challenging practice for students who are ready to deepen their physical strength, concentration, and technical skill. This class follows the disciplined structure of the Burning Wheel Method while introducing more demanding sequences and opportunities to refine alignment and control.
Through sustained vinyasa flow, foundational postures, and focused breath work, practitioners continue to develop endurance, mobility, and stability in both body and mind. The class also introduces more advanced elements of the physical practice, including inversions and arm balances such as handstands, headstands, and other strength-based postures.
Rather than focusing only on physical achievement, the training emphasizes patience, attention, and consistent effort. Students learn to approach challenge with steadiness, using the structure of the practice to build confidence, resilience, and deeper awareness.
Intermediate Power Yoga is well suited for practitioners who have established a regular practice and are ready to expand their capabilities within the framework of the Burning Wheel Method.
